The Maths and Magic of the Rubik’s Cube

18 November @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

It’s hard to believe that it is almost exactly 50 years since the Rubik Cube burst onto the scene. Anad yet in a few months we will be celebrating half a century of playing with this puzzling masterpiece!

Cubes are fascinating, and those which can be rotated in 3 dimensions are even more so; after all, three is a magic number, right?!

So it is only fitting that the closing event of this year’s Maths Week England is a brand-new show celebrating, well, the maths and magic of Erno Rubik’s incredible invention.

What’s more, this is a LIVE event held at the prestigious Royal Institution in London. Space is limited, so grab your tickets fast. What’s more, there is the chance to obtain a limited edition impossible object; a Rubik’s Cube in a bottle! Profits from the sale of these cubes will go towards Maths Week England, so you will be supporting a good cause.
