Win a copy of this fabulous new puzzle book! The puzzles in the book aren’t aimed at a particular age range – there are many that are accessible to a curious ten year old, and some that a maths undergraduate would find extremely challenging (and sometimes it’s the same puzzle!).

This year, our theme is ‘Three Is A Magic Number‘. 

And so are all the multiples of 3, of course.

So all you have to do to win is send us a number using this link.

But there is a catch – your number must be a positive integer, and a multiple of 3.

You could choose 3, 42, 177 or 600; as long as it’s in the 3x table, it’s a valid entry.

The winning school will be the school which submits the LOWEST NUMBER THAT NOBODY ELSE SUBMITS!

So, if you submit 3, it will definitely be the lowest but it’s unlikely to win, as other schools may well go for that as well!

N.B. To be eligible to win, you must have registered for Maths Week England 2023.  Schools must only submit one entry, which must be a positive multiple of 3. If we receive more than one entry from a school, only the first one received will count. The deadline for entries is midday on Friday 17th – the winner will be announced at 2:30 pm that day.

Entry into the competition will be deemed acceptance of these terms.
