Design an A3 Poster and
win a signed copy of Tim Harford's new book !

To enter this competition, design and create an A3-sized poster.

The poster should give a single example of how people have worked together to solve a problem in the real world, where the solution involved using mathematics.

Post a picture of your poster on either:

a) the Maths Week England Facebook page, or b) Twitter, including our handle @Maths_Week.

Your post (but not necessarily your poster) must also include the hashtags #MathsWeekEngland and #MWE21.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(Please read carefully, as submission of entries will be deemed acceptance of these).

Entries must be received before midnight on 10th November 2021. Entries submitted after then may still be displayed, but will not be considered for the prize.

Entries should make reference to Maths Week England 2021, either by use of the hashtags or the phrase ‘Maths Week England 2021: Maths Together‘.

There is no restriction on any technology you may wish to use in order to create your poster. Hand-drawn, printed or electronically produced entries will be considered equally valid, as will entries created using a mix of media and technology. As long as it can be photographed, it is acceptable.

No animation is permitted – only still photos will be considered.

Entries will only be considered from schools or individuals who have signed up to participate in Maths Week England.

The judges will be Maths Week Committee members. Their decision is final and they cannot enter into discussion about their choices.

Judging will take both design and content into consideration, but will be unable to offer feedback on individual entries.

The original posters remain the property of the entrants, but the photos submitted will become the property of Maths Week England and may be displayed on the MWE website, social media channels, or publicity materials.

Winners will be announced on the Maths Week Website and all social media channels on Friday 12th November 2021.
