This year’s Maths Week England theme is ‘Maths on the Move’. As a national experiment, we are inviting everyone to get involved by sending us a picture taken inside a lift!

Next time you’re in a lift, take a photo of the sign showing the maximum number of people and the maximum weight that the lift can carry. Send your photos to us using #MathsWeekEngland on our socials (see the links at the end of the page) and we’ll use them to work out all the important lift-related statistics!
