MWE Live Launch at MathsWorld, London

15th November 2025 saw the first ‘live’ launch of Maths Week England from the new and exciting maths space at MathsWorld, London. Doors opened at 10am and a full programme of maths shows, talks and events kept visitors entertained.

Rob Eastaway took us on a journey through Shakespeare and Elizabethan Maths, Andrew Jeffrey showed the Magic of Maths, Sam Durbin ran workshops on the Möbius Strip, Shanti Pise was Making Maths Meaningful with Movement, Cath Moore will blew our minds with Imaginary Numbers. There was even a visit from a former Prime Minister!

Alongside the entertainment there were some mathsy stalls where visitors could challenge themselves and win prizes with the Izak9 Cubes and also be part of our world record breaking attempt. 

It was truly an amazing event, and great for so many people to meet the team behind Maths Week England!
