\u00a0Win a copy of this fabulous new puzzle book! The puzzles in the book aren\u2019t aimed at a particular age range \u2013 there are many that are accessible to a curious ten year old, and some that a maths undergraduate would find extremely challenging (and sometimes it\u2019s the same puzzle!).<\/p>

THIS IS THE EASIEST COMPETITION YOU WILL EVER ENTER!<\/p>

This year, our theme is ‘Three Is A Magic Number<\/em>‘.\u00a0<\/p>

And so are all the multiples of 3, of course.<\/p>

So all you have to do to win is send us a number using this link.<\/a><\/p>

But there is a catch – your number must be a positive integer, and a multiple of 3.<\/p>

You could choose 3, 42, 177 or 600; as long as it’s in the 3x table, it’s a valid entry.<\/p>

The winning school will be the school which submits the LOWEST NUMBER THAT NOBODY ELSE SUBMITS!<\/p>

So, if you submit 3, it will definitely be the lowest but it’s unlikely to win, as other schools may well go for that as well!<\/p>

N.B. To be eligible to win, you<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>must<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>have<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>registered<\/u><\/i><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>for Maths Week England 2023.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Schools must only submit one entry, which must be a positive multiple of 3.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/i>If we receive more than<\/i><\/span><\/span>\u00a0one entry from a school, only the first one received will count<\/i><\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/i><\/span>The deadline for entries is midday on Friday 17th\u00a0<\/i><\/span>\u2013<\/i><\/span>\u00a0the winner will be announced at 2:30 pm that day.<\/i><\/span><\/p>
