This year we are aiming, with your help to reach ONE MILLION young people!
Last year we reached 2/3 of a million, which is not only a world record, but more than three times the number of people who took part in 2019, and this was entirely down to a tremendous effort from teachers – thank you all.
This yea, as at 3:45pm on 29/10/21, we are already at 100,000 registered participants, with still a little over ten days to go.

What is Maths Week England?
Thank you for visiting the Maths Week England website. This is a grassroots movement to share the joy of mathematics with everyone. It launched in 2019, with the first Maths Week England taking place from 11th – 15th November. We really believe we can make a positive difference to the life chances of millions of people.
Our vision is to provide young people in England with a positive image of mathematics, and to contribute in a small way to changing the national attitude towards this vital and beautiful subject.
Many wonderful organisations are already working hard in this field, such as MEI, National Numeracy, the Mathematical Association, the Association of Teachers of Mathematics, Cambridge Mathematics and others. For a fuller list, please check out our links menu.
COVID – most of the activities provided are designed to be done in schools or at home. However, when participating in anything Maths Week-related, please take care to follow the latest government guidelines for your area.
