U3A Maths Week Talks: Don’t Retire From Maths, Count Yourself In.

The University of the Third Age is running three sessions during Maths Week.

The week aims to be enjoyable, stimulating and inspiring and is aimed at people of all abilities, including those who may have considered themselves retired from any maths! The sessions are about having a go, and as always with maths there are lots of different ways to approach the different puzzles, which is often just as interesting as the answer. There is an online talk with Q&A, by Rob Eastaway, writer of Maths on the Back of an Envelope on Monday 9th, a Puzzles Workshop on Wednesday 11th, and a Maths Games session on Friday 13th. Check out this page on U3A’s website for details.
